2011 Tucson Festival of Books

Taking place March 12th and 13th is the annual Tucson Festival of Books. If you are a writer, reader or just enjoy being outdoors this Festival is the place for you!
The Festival will have hundreds of local and nationally known authors available for book signings and discussions. The Festival will also include instructional courses, publishing groups, local entertainment with poetry, music, theatre and more and of course plenty of food & drink. The guide alone for the Festival is 64 pages long.
A special addition this year will be the showing of the film “3:10 to Yuma” which will play on a large outdoor screen Saturday evening at 7P.M. Scheduled to attend the showing are screenwriters Derek Haas and Michael Brandt as well as Elmore Leonard, whose short story the movie is based upon.
Festival hours are 9:30 am to 5:30 pm both days. Admission and parking is free.
I have been to the Festival each year and have really enjoyed the event. Who knows, maybe this year you’ll leave with a novel idea.

  1. I went to the festival for business purposes in order to find possible leads for my SEO business. I was really pleasantly surprised at the quality of the vendors, the great new ideas that they had, great books to buy and new friends I was able to make. Well worth the time, another super Tucson event.
